Spring is my absolute favorite season, with Summer coming in as a close second. I love the renewing essence of Spring. The budding trees and flowers, along with the pleasant weather just make me giddy lol. It’s so blissful to be able to go outside and see the beauty of nature’s resilience, while enjoying comfortable temperatures after surviving the harsh winter.
Spring Cleaning
As I’ve recently made plans to do some Spring cleaning around the house, it became clear to me that I need to do some cleaning up of my consciousness as well. Lately I’ve noticed some of my old negative thoughts and feelings creeping back in and stealing my bliss. Being the bliss enthusiast that I am, this must be corrected ASAP. So I’ve decided to amp up my meditation by getting up earlier in the morning to really enjoy the stillness and quiet of the morning. I’ve also decided to do more release writing throughout the day instead of just at night so that I can continuously release negative thoughts and energies. So as I dust and declutter my life, I will most certainly be sprucing up my consciousness so I can pull back the curtain and let more light into my inner being, which will get me back in alignment with more gratefulness, peace, and bliss. What cobwebs can you clear out this Spring season?
Springing Forward
The newness of Spring brings opportunity for a fresh new attitude and activities. As a part of my 90-Day “Love Me” Challenge, I will be taking frequent walks amidst the beauty and serenity of Rock Creek Park, with the intention of keeping my body active in a fun and engaging way. Here on the blog, I will be rolling out new features and services designed to help you on your journey to a better you. So be on the look out for great things to come! What new activities will blossom for you this Spring?
Spring Events
With Spring always comes new and exciting events around the city. Here, in Washington, DC, the National Cherry Blossom Festival is very popular. I can’t wait to see the beautiful cherry blossoms at their peak! I’m also very excited about a new event in Adams Morgan called the AdMo Pop-Up Shop, presented by Adams Morgan Mainstreet. It’s a temporary art and retail locale featuring local artists. There will be displays of jewelry, art, photography, pottery and more, along with entertainment. It’s a 3 week exhibit from March 27 – April 16th. So if you are in the area, be sure to stop by and support the local talent! Check out their Facebook page to get updates and stay informed: AdMo Pop-Up on FB

This is a great time to get out and enjoy your city.

I truly believe that there are no coincidences. And it was no coincidence that I had the time to read this today. You and I are on the exact same frequency right now. I meditated last night because I have been letting those negative thoughts and emotions creep back in lately. Today I feel refreshed and ready to get back on track letting my light shine. Love you girl! Yay Spring!
Love the pics! LOL!
Meris, doesn’t it feel good to meditate and feel refreshed afterwords? I love it! I felt amazing this morning after getting up even earlier than normal to meditate, and my release writing last night helped so much. I just love Spring cleaning! lol
