Song of the Week: “I Choose” by India.Arie

Song of the Week: “I Choose” by India.Arie

Good afternoon everyone!

I am SO pumped after listening to my “Encouragement and Inspiration” playlist this morning!

I must put “I Choose” by India.Arie on blast today.

First of all, I absolutely love everything that India.Arie is about. The joy, empowerment and positivity she exudes through her music is immeasurable and has done wonders for my soul on many occasions.

I first came across “I Choose” earlier this year, a few months before my 30th birthday. I found it in perfect timing, not only because it depicts exactly how I choose to live my life right now, but because she also mentions turning 30, so it has definitely become my theme song of the year!

Enjoy this song and its lyrics! Big shout out to all of the newly turned and soon to be 30 year olds this year! This is a great way to start off a new decade! Make it your best yet!

If you’d like to purchase this song for your own playlist, you can do so here:
