Song of the Week: “Keep The Faith” by Faith Evans

Song of the Week: “Keep The Faith” by Faith Evans

Sometimes the simplest of messages speaks the loudest.  That is what I love about this week’s song.  In it, Faith Evans shares one of the most simple and common messages there is – keep the faith.

We have heard this small, three-word command for ages.  And somehow, no matter how familiar we are with the concept, those small words have the power to change your entire situation.

The reason this song is so powerful is because it reaches you wherever you are.  Whether you are at your lowest point and you’re freaking out because you can’t see the light at the end of the tunnel…  Or you’ve found a way to climb out of the tunnel, but it’s taking longer than you thought and you need encouragement to keep moving forward…  No matter where you are on your journey, what you want WILL happen if you just keep the faith…  This song is the perfect boost of energy you need to lift your spirits and keep your mind in the right space.

So today, let the groove and the lyrics of this song speak to your heart.

“When problems come

Just keep the faith

It won’t be long

Until the day

Things will turn around

If you just stand your ground

If I just hold my peace

Let the Lord fight my battle

If I can keep the faith through the night.”
